A tropical escape, handcrafted in glass.
Step into a world of swaying palms, ocean breezes, exotic cocktails, and timeless tropical glamour with Flamingos & Hibiscus, an original stained glass mosaic artwork by celebrated Brooklyn glass artist Allison Eden.
Inspired by the playful elegance of vintage tiki culture, mid-century tropical resorts, and the enchanting world of exotica art, this vibrant composition features two graceful pink flamingos surrounded by lush tropical foliage and brilliant red-orange hibiscus flowers. Behind them, a luminous background transitions from rich sky blues to sparkling turquoise and ocean greens, capturing the tranquil beauty of a tropical paradise.
Every detail is a celebration of master craftsmanship.
Meticulously created by hand at Allison Eden Studios in Brooklyn, New York, this one-of-a-kind glass mosaic artwork represents weeks of painstaking artistry. Individual pieces of richly colored stained glass are carefully selected, hand-cut, shaped, and assembled to bring the composition to life.
The flamingos’ delicate pink feathers, expressive silhouettes, and graceful curved necks contrast beautifully with the layered blues of the sky and sea. Bold hibiscus blossoms and tropical greenery introduce dramatic pops of color, while the natural variations in the stained glass create captivating movement, texture, and luminosity.
The result is far more than a decorative surface. It is a meticulously crafted work of contemporary glass art that celebrates color, fantasy, escapism, and the enduring allure of tropical design.
