Talking Stick Resort | Custom Arizona Sunset Glass Mosaic Wall

Inspired by the breathtaking colors of the Arizona desert, Allison Eden Studios designed and handcrafted this spectacular large-scale stained glass mosaic mural for Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed hospitality design firm Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors, the installation transforms the resort’s spa into an immersive work of art that celebrates the beauty of the Southwest.

Thousands of individually hand-cut stained glass tiles were carefully arranged to capture the ever-changing hues of an Arizona sunset. Brilliant shades of blush pink, lavender, golden yellow, turquoise, sapphire, and deep indigo flow effortlessly across the mural, creating soft color gradations that evoke distant mountain ranges illuminated by the desert sky.

Rather than relying on paint or printed imagery, every subtle transition between colors was achieved entirely through handcrafted glass mosaics—one piece at a time. The result is a luminous architectural artwork that continually changes with the surrounding light, adding movement, depth, and serenity to the spa environment.

Designed specifically for luxury hospitality interiors, the mural creates an unforgettable guest experience while demonstrating the limitless creative possibilities of custom glass mosaic.
