Allison Eden Studios is honored to have designed and handcrafted this realistic Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II stained glass mosaic installation for Eglin Air Force Base, home to one of the nation’s premier aviation and defense training facilities.
Created entirely by hand in Allison Eden Studios’ Brooklyn workshop, this custom mosaic captures the sleek power, precision, and innovation of the legendary fifth-generation fighter aircraft using thousands of individually cut stained glass tiles. Soft gradients of sky blue and white create the illusion of flight while carefully selected shades of black, gray, silver, and mirror glass faithfully reproduce the aircraft’s distinctive form with remarkable realism.
Combining fine art with technical precision, the installation celebrates American aviation excellence while honoring the pilots, service members, engineers, and personnel who contribute to the F-35 program. The handcrafted mosaic demonstrates Allison Eden Studios’ ability to translate highly detailed imagery into durable architectural artwork suitable for military facilities, aviation museums, government buildings, corporate headquarters, and patriotic public spaces.
