Custom Stained Glass Mosaic for a Pennsylvania Church Sanctuary

This small Pennsylvania church was transformed through a custom stained glass mosaic installation by Allison Eden Studios, bringing color, warmth, and a sense of quiet reflection to the sanctuary.
Working with the church design committee and tile partners at Nicklas Supply / SPLASH, Allison Eden Studios developed a custom color blend using Allison Eden’s signature Tiki Block pattern. The palette was carefully selected to complement the sanctuary’s light wood, soft architectural finishes, and prominent cross while creating a peaceful, welcoming environment for worship and meditation.
The finished mosaic surrounds the central cross with a lively yet balanced composition of greens, blues, soft pinks, creams, mirrored accents, and richly textured glass. Rather than overwhelming the sacred architecture, the pattern introduces gentle movement and luminosity, allowing the stained glass to catch and reflect light throughout the day.

Each section was handcrafted by skilled glass artists at Allison Eden Studios, with individual pieces of stained glass selected, cut, fitted, and assembled to create a composition that feels organic and intentional. The variation in glass color, translucency, texture, and reflection gives the sanctuary depth and visual interest while preserving a calm and meditative atmosphere.
This project demonstrates how custom glass mosaic can be used in a church interior not simply as decoration, but as an architectural element that supports the spiritual character of the space.

For churches, chapels, synagogues, temples, memorial spaces, and other sacred environments, Allison Eden Studios creates custom stained glass and mosaic installations tailored to the architecture, color palette, symbolism, and emotional tone of each project.
