Serene in Glass: A Custom Blue-Green Mosaic Bathroom by Allison Eden Studios

A Spa-Like Bathroom Defined by Handcrafted Glass

A bathroom should feel restorative, and this custom residential installation by Allison Eden Studios was designed to create exactly that sense of calm.

Featuring the studio’s signature Grass pattern, the mosaic is installed vertically in a soothing blend of blue, teal, aqua and green stained glass. The elongated arrangement draws the eye upward, visually increasing the sense of height while creating the gentle rhythm and movement of grasses, reeds and water.

The result is a bathroom that feels fresh, peaceful and quietly luxurious.

More than a decorative wall treatment, this installation demonstrates the depth and character that can only be achieved through handcrafted glass mosaic.

Each piece of stained glass was carefully selected, cut and assembled by skilled artisans in Allison Eden Studios’ Brooklyn workshop. Subtle variations in tone, transparency and texture give the finished surface a richness that machine-made tile cannot replicate.

The blues and greens shift with the changing light, while the vertical composition adds energy without disturbing the serene atmosphere of the room.

Expert Craftsmanship in Every Piece

Creating a custom mosaic requires precision long before the material reaches the job site.

The artisans at Allison Eden Studios carefully balance color, scale and movement so the finished composition reads as one continuous surface rather than a collection of individual sheets.

The glass is arranged to create a natural flow of color throughout the wall, with subtle transitions between teal, ocean blue, pale aqua and green.

This attention to detail is especially important in a bathroom, where the mosaic is viewed at close range.

Every line, joint and color relationship contributes to the finished design.

Allison Eden Studios combines the discipline of architectural fabrication with the sensitivity of an artist’s studio, creating mosaic surfaces that feel both highly refined and unmistakably handmade.

A Statement Wall With a Sense of Tranquility

The vertical Grass pattern works particularly well behind the long double vanity.

Rather than overpowering the room, the mosaic creates a beautifully textured background for the dark cabinetry, clean countertops and contemporary mirrors.

Its blue-green palette introduces color while retaining a sophisticated, natural feeling.

The effect is reminiscent of water, tall grasses and reflected light—making it especially appropriate for a bathroom designed around wellness and relaxation.

For homeowners and interior designers, a custom mosaic wall offers the opportunity to turn an everyday room into something memorable.

Color can be adjusted to complement cabinetry, stone, plumbing fixtures and surrounding finishes, while scale and orientation can be customized to the architecture.

Handcrafted in Brooklyn

Allison Eden Studios has spent decades creating custom glass mosaics for residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.

Every project is developed with a strong emphasis on artistry, craftsmanship and personalization.

By working with stained glass rather than simply relying on conventional manufactured tile, the studio can create surfaces with extraordinary depth and individuality.

This bathroom demonstrates that custom mosaic does not always need to be highly figurative or elaborate to make an impact.

Sometimes the beauty comes from color, rhythm and material.

The simple vertical movement of the Grass pattern, combined with the natural variation of hand-selected glass, creates a space that feels elegant, modern and timeless.

Designed for the Way You Want to Live

A custom bathroom mosaic can be dramatic or understated.

It can cover an entire room or simply create one powerful focal wall.

It can introduce bold color or use a restrained palette inspired by nature.

What makes the work special is that it is created specifically for the space.

For this residence, the blue-green palette establishes a calm and luxurious atmosphere while the handcrafted glass introduces the subtle variation that makes the wall feel alive.

The finished bathroom is not simply tiled.

It is composed.

Handcrafted in Brooklyn and designed to transform everyday interiors, this Allison Eden Studios glass mosaic brings the beauty of artisan workmanship into a serene residential retreat.
